Shreveport starter Russell Savickas limited the Cats to no runs on two hits in five solid innings as the Shreveport Sports defeated the Fort Worth Cats 5-0 Sunday at LaGrave Field in American Association exhibition action.
The Sports broke the game open in the fourth with a three-run frame, capped off by a Chris Smith two-run double. Brian Fryer had two hits in the game for Fort Worth.
