Sporting Kansas City News Release
After a a 4-1 victory in St. Louis in Game 1 of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Round One Best-of-3 series, Sporting Kansas City will host St. Louis CITY SC at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday at Children's Mercy Park in Game 2.
Tickets for the match are available online at SeatGeek and Sunday's showdown will be streamed live on Apple TV in English and Spanish for MLS Season Pass subscribers. Pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action and radio coverage will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with streams in the Sporting KC app in addition to a simulcast on SiriusXM FC.
Fans can take advantage of free shipping on orders at MLSstore.com until 10:59 p.m. CT tonight with the code NEWERA (terms and exclusions apply), including Sporting Kansas City's 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs pullover hoodie.
The KC Cauldron invites fans to join them at 6:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday and Thursday in the loading dock at Children's Mercy Park as the supporters group creates a tifo for Sunday's playoff match. Parking will be available in the Red Lot and participants can enter the stadium through the security entrance. Food and drinks will be provided.
On Thursday, Sporting Kansas City will welcome more than 100 students from Northeast High School to Children's Mercy Park for a real-world learning experience in partnership with Junior Achievement, 3DE and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. The students will be treated to an all-access tour of the stadium, a panelist discussion with Sporting KC associates and a small group breakout session. A new edition of The Sporting KC Show presented by Central Bank will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 6-7 p.m. CT on Thursday with hosts Aly Trost Martin and Nate Bukaty. The Sporting KC Show Podcast is available on Spotify, iTunes and SportingKC.com, giving supporters an opportunity to stay connected to the club throughout the postseason.
The Sporting KC Academy U-19s will continue the UPSL season on the road at Tulsa Athletic at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday. In addition, the U-14s, U-15s and U-17s will host Capital City SC in MLS NEXT action kicking off at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday and Sunday at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri.
