
Sounders FC Hosts FC Dallas Tonight in Its First Match of the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs

SEATTLE, WASH. - After wrapping up the 2023 regular season with a 2-0 win over St. Louis CITY SC, Seattle Sounders FC turns its attention to the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs, facing off against FC Dallas in the opening match of the best-of-three Round One series on Monday, October 30 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (6:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV - Watch Free, FS1, 950 KJR AM, SiriusXM FC 157, El Rey 1360 AM).
The win over St. Louis locked up the second seed in the Western Conference for Seattle, with FC Dallas grabbing the seventh seed.The two clubs played twice in the regular season this year, with the fixtures ending in 1-1 draws on both occasions. Sounders FC and FC Dallas also have a rich playoff history, battling it out in the postseason eight times, with Seattle leading the series 4-2-2. The two sides most recently played in the 2020 Western Conference Semifinals, with Seattle winning 1-0.
The Rave Green are currently riding a 17-match unbeaten run in the playoffs at Lumen Field, stretching back to November 10, 2014. Seattle has also not lost to FC Dallas in 17 matches in all competitions at Lumen Field, with its last loss at home against the Texas side coming on May 25, 2011.
Following Monday's match, Sounders FC travels to Dallas for the second match of the Round One series on Saturday, November 4 at Toyota Stadium (6:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV, iHeartMedia Seattle, Sirius El Rey 1360 AM).
