Two points out of first place in the Western Conference, Sporting Kansas City (11-5-7, 40 points) will return to world-class Children's Mercy Park on Saturday to host Chicago Fire FC (6-11-5, 23 points) at 7:30 p.m. CT.
Tickets for Saturday's match are available at SeatGeek.com , including Coca-Cola Family Four Packs consisting of four general admission tickets in the South Stand, four Coca-Cola products and four Domino's pizzas. Bally Sports Kansas City Plus, Bally Sports Midwest Plus, BallySports.com and the Bally Sports app will provide three hours of live coverage starting at 7 p.m. CT, while listeners can follow the action live on Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish). The Sporting KC app will deliver in-game updates and exclusive offers, including a digital coupon for a free 2-liter bottle of Coca-Cola courtesy of Price Chopper.
Two Sporting players will conclude September international duty this week as 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying resumes in the UEFA region. Midfielder Gadi Kinda and Israel will visit Denmark today at 1:45 p.m. CT, while MLS All-Star forward Daniel Salloi and Hungary will host Andorra at 1:45 p.m. CT on Wednesday. Fans can watch both matches live on ESPN Plus.
A new episode of the Sporting KC Show Podcast will debut tonight at 7 p.m. CT on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Conall McCourt will hear from a Sporting guest, recap a busy week of international soccer and look ahead to Saturday's matchup with Chicago. After defeating rivals OKC Energy FC by a 3-0 scoreline last weekend, Sporting Kansas City II (4-13-7, 19 points) will play for a second straight win on Saturday when they travel to face Central Division rivals Indy Eleven (7-9-5, 26 points) at Michael A. Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis. The game will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and stream live on ESPN Plus.
Three Sporting Kansas City Academy teams will kick off their 2021-22 MLS NEXT campaigns on Saturday at Swope Soccer Village. The Sporting KC U-17s and U-15s will host the Chicago Fire Academy at 9 and 11 a.m. CT, respectively, while the U-14s will meet Houston-based Total Football Club at 11 a.m. CT.
