Sporting Kansas City hosts Orlando City Soccer Club at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday at Sporting Park in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Tickets are available online at Ticketmaster.com or at the Sporting Park box offices.

The team will train on Tuesday at 10 a.m. CT at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park and will host their weekly press conference afterward at 12 p.m. CT with Sporting KC Manager Peter Vermes and defender Josh Gardner. All media are encouraged to attend for interview, photo and video opportunities.

The Sporting KC Show will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday with hosts Callum Williams and Andy Edwards joined by Sporting KC players Paulo Nagamura and Jimmy Nielsen live at Em Chamas Brazilian Grill (6101 NW 63rd Terrace Kansas City, MO 64151). Six Sporting Kansas City players remain on international duty with their respective national teams. Peterson Joseph and Mechack Jerome, who both played for Haiti in a 2-1 loss to Spain on Saturday, will next face Italy on Tuesday at Estádio São Januário in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Matt Besler and Graham Zusi started in the United States' 2-1 victory at Jamaica on Friday and the U.S. continues FIFA World Cup qualifying tomorrow when they host Panama at 8:30 p.m. CT in Seattle, Wash. on ESPN, WatchESPN and UniMas. Zusi, who earned his third international assist in Friday's win, will be suspended for the match due to caution accumulation.

On Saturday, Kei Kamara and Sierra Leone take on the Cape Verde Islands in a must-win FIFA World Cup qualifier. Kamara scored his third international goal in the Leone Stars' 2-2 draw with Tunisia on Saturday.

Several Sporting KC players will make appearances in the community this week. Five players -- Nielsen, Nagamura, Claudio Bieler, Chance Myers and C.J. Sapong -- will participate in the Exotic Driving Experience at Kansas Speedway at 2:30 p.m. CT on Friday.

Nielsen will host a book signing event from 12:30-2 p.m. CT on Saturday at Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City, Kan. for his new book, Welcome to the Blue Heaven: Don't Bet Against the Goalkeeper.

Joseph and Jerome will both be at local Price Chopper locations this weekend. On Saturday, Jerome will be at the Shawnee Mission Price Chopper (22210 West 66th St.) from 2-3:30 p.m. CT to meet customers and Sporting KC supporters. On Sunday, Joseph will be at the Roeland Park Price Chopper (4950 Roe Blvd.) from 2-3:30 p.m. CT for a meet-and-greet opportunity.

On Saturday, Sporting Kansas City sponsors the annual Summer Beer Festival, a tribute to craft beers and benefit for AIDS Walk Kansas City, from 5-9 p.m. CT on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of McCoy's in Westport. Over 30 breweries from around the world will be highlighted during the event and all in attendance -- including Sporting KC's Nielsen, Benny Feilhaber and Seth Sinovic -- will receive a commemorative Sporting KC tasting glass, have the chance to sample more than 70 exclusive beers and enjoy the opportunity to mingle with the creators of the beers being poured. Tickets for the Summer Beer Festival are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
