(Plymouth, MI) Mitchell Heard scored a highlight reel goal at 1:42 of overtime, as the Whalers pulled out a dramatic, 4-3 win over the Spitfires in front of a sold out crowd at the Compuware Arena. Alex Aleardi had three points in his final game in Plymouth, where he played parts of three seasons. Brady Vail (20), Kerby Rychel (40) and Alexander Khokhlachev scored for Windsor (26-32-3-6). Stefan Noesen and Sebastian Uvira each had a goal and two assists for Plymouth (41-17-5-4). Jaroslav Pavelka made 38 saves in goal for Windsor. Alex Nedeljkovic made 27 saves in the win. The Spitfires wrap up their regular season schedule as the Whalers visit the WFCU Centre for a return engagement Sunday afternoon. Gametime is 2:05.
