Spitfires to Host Junior Spitfires P.A Contest

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that the team will be hosting two special intermission on-ice activities for fans attending tomorrow's SpitsVision broadcast at the WFCU Centre of the Spitfires-Battalion game, as part of the Rogers OHL Championship Series. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m and doors open at 6:00 p.m.

During the first intermission, the Windsor Spitfires will select eight children from the crowd to participate in a special on-ice "Junior Spitfires Public Address Announcer" contest. The winner of this competition will have the opportunity to be the Spitfires' Official Public Address Announcer during parts of the second period! Also, the Spitfires will welcome local musical guests "Lyn and the Rebels" to perform on-ice during the second intermission.

General admission tickets can be purchased for $4 per person upon entering the WFCU Centre from the main entrance (Gate 2 - Box Office area) tomorrow. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Windsor Spitfires Foundation in support of local charities.

The Spitfires currently lead the best of seven series two games to one.
