The Spitfires got up to a lead but then let off the gas and fell in game 3.
In the first period, the Spitfires got up to a 3-0 lead with goals from D'Amico, Peer and Renwick. Late in the period Flint scored shorthanded to make it a 3-1 game.
In the second period, Flint scored 3 unanswered goals to go up 4-3.
In the third period, Flint added 2 empty net goals and won 6-3.
Flint leads the series 2-1.
Game 4 goes on Friday, puck drop is scheduled for 7pm.
