The Windsor Spitfires today announce that they have acquired a first round pick (7th overall) in the 2008 CHL Import Draft as well as a 3rd round pick and a 2nd round pick in the 2009 and 2010 OHL Priority Selections (respectively) from the Own Sound Attack.
In exchange, Windsor has sent forward Garret Wilson, as well a 2nd round pick in the 2009, and 3rd & 4th round picks in the 2010 OHL Priority Selections to the Attack.
"This was the hardest move that I have had to make since we took over the franchise. There's no doubt that Garret will have a bright future in Owen Sound & will become and NHLer". Said Vice President & General Manager; Warren Rychel.
