
Spitfires Acquire 2005 Born Forward Owen Outwater from the Kingston Frontenacs

WINDSOR, ON. - The Windsor Spitfires have acquired 2005 born forward Owen Outwater from the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2025 (FLNT), a 3rd round pick in 2026 (GUE), and a 3rd round pick in 2027 (WSR).
Outwater is a native of Ottawa, Ontario and was drafted in round one (11th overall) in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection by the North Bay Battalion.
Outwater is in his third season in the OHL. In his rookie year with the Battalion, Outwater played in 64 games while recording 4 goals and 8 assists for 12 points. Ahead of his sophomore season, Outwater was traded to the Frontenacs on September 9th 2022. Owen played in 62 games and recorded 16 goals and 25 assists for 41 points in his first season with the Fronts. So far this season Outwater has scored 2 goals and recorded 7 assists for 9 points in 19 games.
Bill Bowler spoke on the acquisition of Outwater.
"Owen is a former first rounder with a lot of offensive upside." GM Bill Bowler said. "We think we are getting a motivated athlete that will produce in this league."
