Sarnia, Ont. - The Saginaw Spirit (15-6-1-0) continue their road trip as they face off against the Sarnia Sting (12-6-3-1) Friday, November 25, at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia, Ontario. The Spirit are on a seven-game win streak and have won nine of their last ten.

Last Time:
Saginaw defeated the Flint Firebirds 4-3 in overtime Wednesday, November 23, at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan. Four separate Spirit players scored in the win, including Michael Misa who scored the game winning goal.
Sarnia were victorious over the Mississauga Steelheads 6-2 Wednesday, November 23, at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia, Ontario. Sasha Pastujov and Marcus Limpar-Lantz scored two goals each in the win.
This Season:
Saginaw and Sarnia have squared off twice this season, and the Spirit collecting the victory in both affairs. The clubs play a total of six times this season, with the first three at Sarnia and the remaining three at Saginaw. Tonight's game marks the final game between these division rivals at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
Players to Watch:
2025 NHL draft eligible Michael Misa has scored three goals in the last two games and leads the Spirit with 13 goals. Anaheim Ducks prospect Pavel Mintyukov leads the team in points and all Ontario Hockey League (OHL) defensemen with 30. He also leads the Spirit in assists with 20. Only Ty Voit of the Sarnia Sting has more assists in the OHL (34). New York Islanders prospect Tristan Lennox leads Saginaw's goaltenders with a 3.01 goals against average (GAA) and an .888 save percentage (SV%).
Angus MacDonnell scored four goals in an overtime victory over Oshawa on Tuesday night and is third in goals with 11 for the Sting. Ty Voit leads the OHL in points (40) and assists (34). He also earned four assists in the club's last game. Nolan Burke leads Sarnia in goals with 15. Benjamin Gaudreau is out front with a 3.33 GAA and an .877 SV%.
The Spirit have three (3) players drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL), including Pavel Mintyukov (Anaheim), Matyas Sapovaliv (Vegas), and Tristan Lennox (New York Islanders).
The Sting have seven (7) players drafted into the NHL, including Sandis Vilmanis (Florida), Sasha Pastujov (Anaheim), Nolan Burke (Nashville FA), Ty Voit (Toronto), Ryan Mast (Boston), Chandler Romeo (Ottawa), and Benjamin Gaudreau (San Jose).
