
Spirit Announces Senator Tim Kaine, Commissioner Jessica Berman and Spiritville as Featured Highlights for July 17 Match against Orlando Pride

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit has announced the club's featured highlights for the July 17 game against the Orlando Pride.
Sunday's match will feature honorary captains Senator Tim Kaine and Lidia Soto-Harmon, CEO of Girl Scouts Nation's Capital. The Spirit is excited to host these two notable individuals for the honor of the game day coin toss. Sunday's match will also feature the introduction of Spiritville, a dedicated pregame fan area where fans can gather ahead of every Spirit match at Audi Field. Spiritville will feature a tailgate zone with the first 1,000 beers free for fans age 21+, a kids zone, a 'get in the spirit' zone, a merchandise zone, and a community zone. At the July 17 match, Spiritville will also include a special book signing with soccer icon Joanna Lohman. She will be signing copies of her highly-acclaimed book "Raising Tomorrow's Champions". Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
On Sunday, select season ticket members will have exclusive access to a meet & greet with NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman, Washington Spirit Owner Michele Kang and soccer icon Joanna Lohman. Match Day Features
Pre-match meet and greet for select season ticket members with Michele Kang, NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman and Spirit alum Joanna Lohman.
United States Senator Tim Kaine and Girls Scouts Nation's Capital CEO Lidia Soto-Harmon will join as honorary captains for the coin toss.

Tailgate Zone: At the tailgate zone fans can enjoy a live DJ and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages ahead of the game. For July 17, the first 1,000 beers will be free to fans as a thank you for their support of their reigning champions.
Kids Zone: The Kids Zone offers games and inflatables for kids to enjoy before kick-off.
Get in the Spirit Zone: In this area, fans can get fully ready for the game with our expert face painters and pick up their game day giveaway which will be Spirit branded sunglasses on July 17.
Merch Zone: This is where you can get all of your favorite Spirit merchandise to represent the Spirit all year long.
