Spirit Announce Broadcast Team for Weekend TV Game

The Saginaw Spirit have announced the broadcast teams for Saturday's Spirit-Owen Sound Attack game.

Spirit broadcaster Greg Brady will call the game on WNEM TV 5 along with New York Islanders Assistant Coach Jeff Jackson. Jackson has extensive coaching experience including more than two seasons at the helm of the OHL Guelph Storm, and time at the US National Team Development Program with Spirit General Manager and Head Coach Bob Mancini. Brady has been the voice of the Saginaw Spirit since the team's inception in 2002-03, and is a morning host at WDFN, AM 1130 in Detroit.

Spirit Director of Media and Community Relations Cameron Knowles will call the game on Spirit broadcast partner, the New 97.3, Joe FM along with broadcaster Sean Baligian. Baligian is a mid-day host at WDFN AM 1130 in Detroit and has been the color broadcaster for the OHL Plymouth Whalers for a number of seasons. Knowles has been the color commentator on Spirit broadcasts for parts of three seasons.

The Saginaw Spirit, Mid-Michigan's Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Franchise plays 34 home games from September to March. The OHL is part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), which also includes the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
