Saginaw, Michigan - Saginaw Spirit General Manger Dave Drinkill announced Wednesday a trade between the Spirit and the Peterborough Petes. In the deal, the Spirit have acquired Peterborough's second round pick in 2024 and Peterborough's third round pick in 2020 in exchange for forward Max Grondin.

Grondin, 18, appeared in 147 career games over the span of three seasons scoring 40 points on 18 goals and 22 assists. The Hearst, Ontario native was selected by the Spirit in the second round, 37th overall in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.

Saginaw returns home Saturday, November 3, to take on the Guelph Storm for First Responders Night at The Dow Event Center. The puck drops at 7:05 with a Brady Gilmour player poster giveaway for fans presented by Jets Pizza.
