LOWELL, MASS. - The Lowell Spinners, Class-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, in conjunction with Kronos Incorporated of Chelmsford have teamed together in a season long partnership to provide a night at the ballpark for military members and their families free of charge this summer.

The "At Bat for Armed Services" promotion is effective for each and every Lowell Spinners home game and offers complimentary reserved tickets to all of our local military and their immediate family members. In addition, these military members will be awarded a free game day program and all-you-can-drink pass, good for all the non-alcoholic beverages one could desire during a ballgame.

"The men and women of our armed services have given so much to our country," said Spinners President and General Manager Tim Bawmann. "A night at the ballpark is the least we can do to express our eternal gratitude for their service."

In addition to the tickets, beverages and program, military members will also have an opportunity to throw out a ceremonial pitch prior to the game and will receive a special welcome from Spinners' announcer Mike Reilly.

"We're thrilled to team up with the Spinners to provide a classic summertime ballgame experience to military members and their families," said David Almeda, Kronos Vice President of Human Resources.

Military members wishing to participate in the promotion must provide a valid military identification card at the Box Office on the day of the game. Ceremonial pitch opportunities are limited each night and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

For more information, visit www.lowellspinners.com or contact the Spinners Box Office at (978) 459-1702.

The Spinners return to LeLacheur Park Friday, June 22 for a three-game home stand against the Vermont Lake Monsters with Jacoby Ellsbury Gold Glove/Silver Slugger Bobble Heads for the first 1,000 fans Friday night.
