TROY, NY - Chase d'Arnaud and Jeremy Farrell both contributed doubles to the National League's 4-3 All-Star Game victory Tuesday night at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, New York.
Farrell entered the game in the sixth inning, doubling to left field. Farrell played the remainder of the game at first base.
d'Arnaud entered the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. After walking in the seventh, d'Arnaud led off the ninth inning with a double to left field for the National League. On Jack Shuck's single, d'Arnaud scored to put the National League within one run. Tri-City's David Flores doubled to left field, giving the National League a walk-off win at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
The Spikes return to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Thursday for a two-game homestand against the Jamestown Jammers (Florida Marlins). The first 2,000 fans through the gates for the 7:05 p.m. game will receive a Spikes Sling Bag.
