
SPHL Announces Suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced suspensions resulting from two incidents in Game #201, Pensacola at Louisiana, played on March 7.
Louisiana's Chris Wilson has been suspended two games for his actions. At the 19:30 mark of the third period, Wilson was assessed a minor penalty for roughing, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.2, Aggressor.
Wilson will miss Louisiana's games against Pensacola on Saturday, March 8 and Mississippi (RiverKings) on Sunday, March 9.
Louisiana's Tyler Barr has been suspended two games for his actions. At the 19:45 mark of the third period, Barr was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.2, Aggressor.
Barr will miss Louisiana's games against Pensacola on Saturday, March 8 and Mississippi (RiverKings) on Sunday, March 9.
Louisiana's Greg Brown has been suspended one game for his actions. At the 19:45 mark of the third period, Mr. Brown was assessed a double-minor penalty for spearing and subsequently engaged in altercations with two Pensacola players.
Brown will miss Louisiana's game against Pensacola on Saturday, March 8.
Louisiana Head Coach Kevin Kaminski has also been fined an undisclosed amount for the incidents.
