HUNTERSVILLE, NC (January 16, 2016) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Saturday announced the following suspension:
Huntsville's Steve Mele
Huntsville's Steve Mele has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 120, Peoria at Huntsville, played on Friday, January 15.
At 16:37 of the first period, Mele was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing.
Mele will miss Huntsville's game against Peoria today (January 16).
