Frisco, TX – The Frisco RoughRiders Professional baseball club announced today that starting at 12 noon on Friday, May 9th single game tickets for the month of June will go on sale. "The timing of this sale for June single game tickets is ideal for families starting to make their summer plans," said Lynn Wittenburg, Vice President of Marketing. "School is about to let out so more and more families will spend their evenings right out here with us. This is THE place to be for summer entertainment."

During the month of June the RoughRiders play an eight-game home stand beginning Saturday, June 7th at 7:30 pm. "We'll kick off the summer excitement with an encore performance by Reggy, a giant purple people-pleaser that keeps fans laughing out loud," said Curt Brooker, Director of Game Entertainment.

Also Friday, May 9th is the deadline for exchanging the April 5th Rainout ticket. The RoughRiders will re-play the April 5th Rainout game on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. "That's right, it's a double header at the Dr Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark on Memorial Day. Immediately following the 1:30 p.m. make-up game we will clear the park and lock the gates. Then we will re-open the gates one hour prior to the regularly scheduled 7 p.m. game," said Mike McCall, President and General Manager.

Anyone with a ticket to the rained out game can exchange it for the May 26th make-up ball game or any future RoughRiders game (subject to availability). The exchange can be made at the RoughRiders' Box Office located at Dr Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark – 7300 RoughRiders Trail.
