
Speedy Forward Joins Kingfish

Baton Rouge Kingfish News Release
The Baton Rouge Kingfish announced today that they have signed rookie forward Ryan Trsek. Trsek spent last season with the South Surry Eagles of the British Columbia Hockey League where he picked up 35 goals and 44 assists in 50 games.
"Ryan brings a whole bunch of speed and skill," said Kingfish Head Coach Cam Brown, "and playing with skilled veterans will allow him to develop and mature."
The Langly, British Columbia, native picked up 13 power play goals last season while his 14 tallies on the man advantage two seasons ago was tied for first on the team.
"He can fly," said Brown, "he will probably be one of the fastest guys in the league." The 5'11", 193-pound forward becomes the first rookie forward signed by the Kingfish this season.
