Corvallis Knights Ranked #20 in PG Crosschecker National Poll

The Knights are heating up. Corvallis is 5-0 following the All-Star Game and are now in sole possession of first place in the South with a league-best 26-15 record, one game ahead of the Bend Elks (25-16). The Knights swept Medford at Goss July 24-26 and have won its first two games at Victoria. Game three of the series is tonight at 7:05 pm at Royal Athletic Park. You can listen to all the action on KEJO 1240 AM.

The Corvallis Knights starting staff has been masterful over the past five games as Chris Bishop of PLU, Alex Nesbitt of Washington, Elliot Surrey of UC Irvine, Casey Bloomquist of Cal Poly and Jacob Schroeder of Washington State have turned in consecutive quality starts. Corvallis' team ERA of 2.73 is the lowest in the WCL.

The Knights were ranked number 20 in PG Crosschecker's latest national summer collegiate baseball poll, which was released this morning.
