LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks are proud to support the 18th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk Women, taking place this Saturday, May 7 in Exposition Park.

The EIF Revlon Run/Walk is one of the nation's largest single-day fundraisers to support women's cancer research, counseling and outreach programs in New York City and Los Angeles.

Sparks' players Ebony Hoffman, DeLisha Milton-Jones and Noelle Quinn will participate in the closing ceremonies by distributing leis to top finishers of the five-kilometer course. Meanwhile, head coach Jennifer Gillom and general manager Penny Toler will participate in the Health Expo in Exposition Park, while assistant coach Sandy Brondello will walk the 5K alongside more than 40,000 others. Sparky - the WNBA's coolest mascot - and other representatives of the Sparks organization will also be on-site.

The EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women was launched in 1994 through the combined efforts of Lilly Tartikoff, Ronald O. Perelman, chairman of Revlon, Inc., and the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Since inception, more than $60 million in grants have been made from the combined events in New York and Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the Sparks begin their 15th WNBA season on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m., hosting the Minnesota Lynx and No. 1 WNBA Draft pick Maya Moore at STAPLES Center. Fans can purchase single game tickets online at LASparks.com, by phone at 877-44-SPARKS (772757), at the STAPLES Center box office and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
