Sounders FC Playoff Spirit Comes to Woodland Park Zoo Tomorrow, October 16

SEATTLE, WASH. - Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16 from 11:00-11:45 a.m. PT, Sounders FC and Woodland Park Zoo are celebrating the Rave Green's league-record 11th consecutive postseason berth with Sounders-themed enrichment for a variety of the zoo's animals.

One of Woodland Park Zoo's wolves plays with a Sounders FC soccer ball during the team's 2016 playoff run. The Rave Green will once again donate balls toward animal enrichment activities taking place tomorrow morning (Charis Wilson / Sounders FC Communications).

Ahead of Saturday's first-round playoff match against FC Dallas, tomorrow grizzly bears, river otters, wolves and penguins will play with Sounders FC soccer balls donated by the team to aid with the zoo's excellent animal care program that helps encourage natural animal behavior, keeps animals mentally and physically stimulated and provides unique experiences for zoo visitors.
