
Sounders FC Announces Kickoff Time Changes for Two Matches, Date and Time Change for October Match vs. Houston

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC today announced kickoff time changes for two matches this season - May 26 vs. Real Salt Lake and September 19 vs. Philadelphia - while shifting the date for a late-season match against Houston, which had previously been scheduled for Saturday, October 6 and now is set to be played Monday, October 8.
Seattle's May 26 home match vs. Real Salt Lake moves back an hour, from 1:00 p.m. PT to 2:00 p.m. PT, allowing soccer fans the opportunity to enjoy the UEFA Champions League final (11:45 a.m. PT kickoff) beforehand.
Later in the season, the September 19 match vs. the Philadelphia Union has been pushed back 30 minutes to 8:00 p.m. PT, while the Rave Green's match against the Houston Dynamo, previously scheduled for Saturday, October 6, has been moved to Monday, October 8 with a 7:30 p.m. PT kickoff.

Following a 2-1 result over Toronto at BMO Field on Wednesday evening, Sounders FC prepares for its first Cascadia clash of the season, facing the Portland Timbers on Sunday, May 13 at Providence Park (1:00 p.m. PT / ESPN, YouTube TV, 950 AM KJR, El Rey 1360 AM) in what marks the 100th all-time regular-season meeting between the two bitter rivals.
