Sounders FC and Sounders U-23 Team Partner for Weekend of Soccer in Seattle

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC and the Sounders U-23 team today announced that the two clubs have partnered to offer an exclusive joint ticket package for this upcoming weekend. The Sounders FC U-23 side recently won the USL-Premier Developmental League (PDL) Western Conference championship and will host the National Final Four championship this weekend at Starfire Sports in Tukwila. As part of this event, Sounders FC and the affiliate Sounders U-23 PDL side are offering a $25 ticket package that includes entry to both 2015 PDL semifinal matches on Friday, July 31 at 6:00 p.m. PT and 8:00 p.m. PT, as well as a ticket to Sounders FC's Cascadia Cup clash versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC at CenturyLink Field on Saturday, August 1 at 7:00 p.m. (Q13 FOX, Univision-Seattle, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). The Sounders FC ticket must be claimed at Friday's PDL semifinal round, and the $25 package can be purchased via the following link: http://sndrs.com/a4l9.

The2015 PDL championship presented by Nike has the four conference champions converging on Starfire Stadium this weekend. Host-side Sounders FC U-23 is joined by K-W United FC, the New York Red Bulls U-23 team and the Ocala Stampede as the championship event returns to the West Coast for the first time since 2011.

The Sounders U-23 team claimed the Western Conference Championship on Saturday, July 25 with a 2-1 victory over FC Tucson. The Sounders U-23's last reached the national semifinals in 2012, when the side was led by former Sounders FC Homegrown Player and U.S. Men's National Team regular DeAndre Yedlin. Another Sounders FC Academy product and United States Men's National Team player, Jordan Morris, played for the PDL side in 2014. Other past U-23 players include current Sounders Aaron Kovar and Darwin Jones, former Homegrown Player Sean Okoli of the New England Revolution and Doug Herrick, a former MLS pool goalkeeper who trained with Sounders FC.

Outside of this exclusive deal, tickets for the 2015 PDL championship are available at $10 for the semifinal round on Friday and Sunday's championship match via SoundersU23.com.
