
Sound Tigers Out And About Again This Weekend

BRIDGEPORT, CT â Storm, the team mascot of the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and the Tiger Tunnel will make a trio of appearances this weekend as the team continues its commitment to community activities throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
The Tiger Tunnel will be at South School in New Canaan for the annual field day today at 11:30 a.m.
Storm will take part in the Barnum Festival Children's Wing Ding Parade at Bridgeport's Beardsley Park tomorrow, Saturday, June 12th, beginning at 11 a.m. Storm will also visit the American Youth Soccer Organization â Easton Soccer registration at Pond Field Sunday. The registration runs from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Last week, Sound Tigers Front Office Staffers Bill Jacob and Danielle Nardi and members of the team's booster club helped to raise over $11,000 for the American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life". The Sound Tigers also held a "Stanley Cup Party" at Boston Billiards in Fairfield and visited activities for Wilcoxson Elementary School and John Read Middle School last week.

The 2004-05 season will be the Sound Tigers' fourth in Bridgeport and fourth as the top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders.
