Sound Tigers Announce Preseason Games

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Sept. 18, 2012) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced their 2012-13 preseason schedule.

The Sound Tigers will play two preseason games on the road against former Atlantic Division foes. The first of their two preseason games will be against the Providence Bruins at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA on Oct. 4 at 7:05 p.m.

The preseason schedule concludes the following evening on Oct. 5 when the Sound Tigers travel to Sullivan Arena on the campus of Saint Anselm's College in Goffstown, NH to face the Manchester Monarchs at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the Sound Tigers Oct. 4 game against Providence can be purchased by contacting the New England Sports Center at 508-229-2700. Tickets will not be sold for the Sound Tigers Oct. 5 preseason game vs. Manchester at Saint Anselm's College, but fans will be asked to make a donation to the Monarchs Care Foundation upon entry.

The Sound Tigers will begin training camp on Sept. 28 and open their 2012-13 season on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Connecticut Whale. Their home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13 against the Providence Bruins at Webster Bank Arena.
