
Somerset Patriots Land Right-Handed Pitcher Bryce Morrow

Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Bryce Morrow.
Morrow enters his first season with the Somerset Patriots and first in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Earlier this season, the righty made nine starts for Double-A San Antonio of the San Diego Padres organization.
The Grand Rapids, Michigan native spent the first three years of his professional career in the Frontier League before signing with the Padres in 2013. He has spent the past four seasons in their organization, including six starts for Triple-A El Paso last year.
Morrow's best season came in 2014, where he posted a 3.13 ERA over 16 appearances (13 starts) for Double-A San Antonio. Additionally, current Patriots' catcher Rob Kral was a teammate of Morrow's in 2014 and 2015 in San Antonio.
The Central Michigan University alumnus has posted a 32-30 with a 4.14 ERA over 108 appearances (77 starts) in his six-year professional career.
