Sogaard and Brinkman Set to Join Team Denmark

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers announced today that Mads Sogaard and Jonathan Brinkman will be playing for Denmark in the 2020 U20 World Championship Division 1 Group A Tournament.

Sogaard and Brinkman will report to Team Denmark after the Tigers' Teddy Bear Toss game this Saturday, November 30th against the Saskatoon Blades.

The 2020 U20 World Championship Division 1 Group A tournament will be played in Minsk, Belarus beginning December 9th. The tournament is played in a single game round-robin format where each team will play each other once. The first-ranked team of the event will be promoted to the top division at the 2021 U20 World Junior Championship. Team Denmark will take on Team Latvia in their opening game.

Sogaard has been playing for the Denmark U20 team since 2017-18 while Brinkman joined the U20 National Team in 2018-19. The Medicine Hat Tigers would like to congratulate both Mads and Jonathan and wish them luck in the tournament.
