
Sockers to Open MASL Season November 1st at Home vs Las Vegas

San Diego Sockers News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League today announced home opener dates and opponents for the 2014-15 campaign. The San Diego Sockers will begin their season at the Valley View Casino Center taking on their rivals from the Pacific Division the Las Vegas Legends. Game time will be set for 7:05 on November 1st.
"Sockers-Legends is a fierce rivalry and will be for years to come," said Sockers general manager John Kentera, "We'll be ready on November 1st to renew the battle. This will be another tough opener and one the fans will want to see for sure."
The Sockers 2013-14 season in the Professional Arena Soccer League came to an end at the hands of the Legends in Las Vegas on March 1st in the Pacific Division championship game, an 11-7 setback that ended San Diego's run of four consecutive PASL titles. The Legends went on to lose in the PASL semi-finals, with the Chicago Mustangs capturing the title.
