Ontario Fury Announce MASL Home Opener

ONTARIO, CALIF. - The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, will open the 2014-15 season in the newly formed Major Arena Soccer League on Friday, Nov. 7 against the Monterrey (Mexico) Flash.
The MASL announced each team's home opening dates today, as it prepares for its first season as the nation's top indoor soccer league. The complete league schedule will be released in September.
Ontario will open the season at Citizens Business Bank Arena by saluting the men and women who protect the United States with a "Military Appreciation Weekend." The Fury has a home game scheduled for Nov. 9, with the opponent still to be determined.
"We're excited to get open the season at home on Veterans Day weekend with a pair of games to pay tribute to those who serve our country," said team president Bernie Lilavois. "We have worked hard this summer to put together a proper tribute to our current and former troops as we open the season."
As part of the 2014-15 season, the Fury will be part of the 23-team MASL's six-team Pacific Division, playing a 20-game schedule, with 10 MASL games at home. Each team will play the their divisional opponents at least twice this season, with one at home and one away. The Pacific Division will include the Fury, Las Vegas Legends, Sacramento Surge, San Diego Sockers, Turlock Express and the expansion Seattle Impact. The league's first game will be Oct. 25 as the Dallas Sidekicks host the MISL champion Missouri Comets.
The Fury's MASL opener will kickoff at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at Citizens Business Bank Arena, with the Nov. 9 game scheduled for a 3 p.m. start.
Ontario will open its 2014-15 campaign with an exhibition game at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 against the Mexican National Indoor Team at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tickets for the game are on sale now at the arena box office and through the Fury's offices.
Season tickets for the 11 home games - which includes the exhibition game at no charge for season ticket holders -- are on sale now through the Fury, and start at $90 per seat for the 11 games.
