SAN DIEGO, CALIF. --- The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, fell behind early and were unable to rally back in their second game in less than 24 hours as they lost to the four-time defending Professional Arena Soccer League champion San Diego Sockers, 10-3.

Before a crowd of 4,092, the Sockers got hat tricks from Chiky Luna and Aaron Susi as San Diego peppered Ontario's Sanaldo with 28 shots. The Ontario goaltender made several big saves, but was left alone on several occasions, including a penalty shootout goal by Kraig Chiles in the second quarter.

Tino Nunez extended his Fury scoring lead with a pair of goals for Ontario, including a power play goal in the second quarter. Jeff Bader also scored for the Fury, as Tiguinho had a pair of assists in the loss.

The Fury only dressed 13 players for Sunday's game, after Jay Harris and Miguel Sanchez were unable to go after suffering injuries in Saturday's match against Las Vegas. Ontario was further shorthanded as Jhonatan Bravo and Majell Aterado suffered injuries during Sunday's game.

The Fury will complete their inaugural season Saturday, Feb. 15, with a game against the Las Vegas Legends at the Las Vegas Indoor Sports Park in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas. The game will begin at 7 p.m. and be broadcast on the America One Sports Network. A watch party is planned at Dave and Busters Ontario Mills.
