
Ontario Fury Bust Out In Second Half, Lose To Las Vegas, 10-8

ONTARIO, CALIF. --- The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, gave up seven second half goals to the visiting Las Vegas Legends, as they closed out the home portion of the 2013-14 schedule with a 10-8 loss at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
A fan appreciation night crowd of 3,346 saw the Fury (5-9) jump out to a 3-0 lead in the first quarter, and held a 6-3 lead at halftime. But the second half was another story, as the Legends scored three times in the first three minutes to tie the game and change the flow of the game.
Tino Nunez led the Fury attack in the game, scoring a Fury single-game record five goals. Tiguinho added two goals and two assists, while Majell Aterado added a goal and two assists for the Fury.
Las Vegas got a hat trick from Andrew Caseras and two goals from Richardinho, as the Legends outscored the Fury 5-1 in the third quarter.
Ontario's Sanaldo had 18 saves in the losing effort, while the Legends' Zeke Sanchez was made 13 saves on the night.
Before the game, three Fury players were awarded with Fan Vote Awards. Jeff Bader, the only Fury player to appear in every game this season was named the team's Ironman. Tino Nunez, who extended his team lead in goals to 20, was awarded Offensive Player of the Year. Finally, Sanaldo won the Defensive Player of the Year.
