SAN DIEGO - The 14-time champion San Diego Sockers, in conjunction with the Major Arena Soccer League, have made two changes to their 2017-18 season schedule. The team's scheduled Sunday, February 24 home game against Rio Grande Valley has been moved to Thursday, February 22, 7:35 p.m. The other change will have the Sockers traveling to play the Ontario Fury on Thursday, March 1, 7:05 p.m., instead of the previously scheduled December 22 date.
The club changed its home date to assist Valley View Casino Center with a scheduling issue. The game will also be designated as one of three $2 Bud Light Nights. Any fans who have tickets printed for the February 24 game should contact the Sockers front office via email at marybeth@SDSockers.com beginning Monday, December 11, for more information.
The Sockers/Fury match in Ontario was moved to accommodate the Fury's home venue Citizen's Business Bank Arena.
