
Snappers Return for Week-Long Home Stand

The Beloit Snappers return to Pohlman Field on Tuesday, May 18th for the first of a three day series against the Kane County Cougars (Oakland Athletics) with the first pitch set for 4:30pm in a double header contest between the two teams. The Snappers are starting the series looking for their 23rd win overall and 4th win of the season over the Cougars. Remember Tuesday's are our College Night and Dollar Night! Fans that present a valid college ID can get a general admission ticket for just $1.00, and all fans can enjoy hot dogs, sodas, popcorn and 12oz Leinie drafts for just a buck thanks to Ott-Schweitzer Distributing. Also remember to bring your Kraft Singles wrappers to the ticket office for a special Tuesday night ticket offer!
Wednesday, May 19th is our next Cash Back Wednesday where a gift shop and a concession item are selected, giving fans that purchase the selected items a chance to win $50 cash! Wednesday's game against the Cougars is set to start at 6:30pm.
Thirsty Thursday's ends the Snappers series against Kane County with six 8oz. cans of Miller Lite for just $8 thanks to Ott-Schweitzer Distributing and WJVL 99.9 FM! Remember the game starts at 6:30pm, with the gates opening up at 5:30pm.
Friday starts a 4-game series against the Cedar Rapids Kernels with the first pitch to be thrown at 6:30pm. Saturday's game starts out our first of fourteen post-game firework shows this season. Make sure to stick around after the game for a fireworks extravaganza thanks to our friends at the Rodeway Inn of Beloit! It's also another Woodman's Mac N' Cheese night. If you bring a box of Mac N' Cheese, you get $1 off a regular priced adult admission ticket. Also, bringing a box of Shur Fine Mac N' Cheese from your local Woodman's Market will enter you into a season long drawing for a Snapper's prize package. Gates for Saturdays game will open an hour prior to the first pitch which is set for 6:30pm.
The series against Cedar Rapids series continues on Sunday, May 23rd at 2pm, with a special 2010 team photo giveaway to the first 1,000 fans through the gate! Make sure to check this weekend's Community Shopper for a special buy-one-get-one reserved seat coupon, and enjoy Leinie's bottles for just $2.00 all game long. Fans are also welcome to stick around after the game to run the bases and play catch on the field (weather and field conditions permitting)!
Monday, May 24th wrap's up the home stand before the Snappers head on the road for two weeks. Monday's game starts at 6:30pm and is another Monday Madness Day - for just $22.00 you can get two general admission tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two popcorns and two adjustable Snappers hats!!
