
Snappers Offer Opening Day/Facebook Promotion

For the first time ever the Beloit Snappers will be offering the first ever Facebook promotion. The ever popular Snappers team page already has over 1,500 fans and the Snappers Front Office is looking to have the most fans in the Midwest League.
All fans are encouraged to recruit to the Shell Nation by getting people to become friends of the Snappers on Facebook. If the goal is met of getting 3,000 friends of our Facebook page by Friday, April 9th, 2010, all fans will be able to enjoy $1.00 hot dogs during the Snappers home opener on Sunday, April 11th, 2010. Everyone can find the Snappers team page at http://www.facebook.com/Snappersbaseball or click on the facebook icon on the new Snappers home page at www.snappersbaseball.com.
Those that are friends of the Snappers on Facebook can also look for exclusive discounts and promotions during the 2010 season, just for being a Facebook friend of the Snappers.
Opening Day for the 29th season of professional baseball in the Stateline Area is Thursday, April 8th as the Snappers travel to Iowa to take on the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
