Lake Buena Vista, Fla.-Dan Haren (2-0) allowed five hits and one run over seven innings and the Smokies started a 12-game road trip with a 4-1 win over Orlando in the home opener for the Rays.
Orlando commited 4 errors, three of which led directly to Tennessee runs. Skip Schumaker led the way with three hits and Mike Lyons worked a perfect ninth for his second save of the season.
