Smokies land six on Southern League All-Star roster

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - Six members of the 2009 Tennessee Smokies roster were named Monday by the Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs to the 2009 Southern League All-Star Game. Position players Jim Adduci, Darwin Barney and Blake Lalli will join teammates Casey Coleman, Jay Jackson and Brian Schlitter on the North Division roster at Regions Park in Birmingham, Ala. for the July 13 game.
Players selected for the Southern League All-Star teams are selected by a vote of Southern League field managers, radio broadcasters, general managers and print media. The starting lineup for the South Division will be announced tomorrow, June 30. Starting lineups for the North and South Divisions will be released on July 1 and 2 respectively.
