
Smith and Gavrus Continue Under 18's

Artur Gavrus and Gemel Smith continue to strive for Gold Medals at their respective Under 18 Championships.
Gavrus and team Belarus are competing in the B Division of the World Under 18 Championships which are being held in Hungary. The Belarus entry is 4-0 with their most recent victories coming over host Hungary and a convincing victory over the Ukraine. Gavrus has tallied 1 goal and 2 assists in 4 games.
Smith and Team Canada suffered a 4-2 loss to Finland on Saturday but rebounded earlier this morning with a 6-2 victory over the Czech Republic, which saw Smith pick up an assist.
Both Smith and Gavrus are ranked by NHL Central Scouting for this June's NHL Entry Draft.
