
Skyhawks Add Guard Langston Galloway Via Returning Player Rights

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - The College Park Skyhawks announced today that the team has added guard Langston Galloway via returning player rights.
Galloway, an eight-year NBA veteran, appeared in 24 games (11 starts) with the Skyhawks last season, averaging 16.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game on the way to College Park's first playoff berth in team history.
He was claimed off of waivers by the Skyhawks on Dec. 12, 2021 and appeared in one game before earning an NBA Call-Up with the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 16, 2021. He earned two 10-day contracts with the Nets before receiving a 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 7, 2022. Following his 10-day contract with the Bucks, Galloway returned to the Skyhawks on Jan. 21, 2022.
Galloway has recently spent time with USA Basketball as a member of the World Cup Qualifying Teams in the February, June/July, August, and November 2022 international windows. He appeared in seven games over the four windows, averaging 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
The 6'1 guard previously spent time with the Phoenix Suns during the 2020-21 season. He appeared in 40 games during the regular season, scoring 4.8 points and pulling down 1.1 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per contest (.449 FG%, .424 3FG%, .957 FT%).
After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, he signed his first contract with the New York Knicks, where he appeared in 127 regular season games for the club over two seasons, including all 82 contests during the 2015-16 regular season.
The Baton Rouge, La. native has appeared in 452 games (62 starts) and owns NBA career averages of 8.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.9 minutes per game (.398 FG%, .370 3FG%, .816 FT%).
Galloway spent four years in college at Saint Joseph's University, averaging 15.0 points per game for his career. He was named to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team during his senior season in 2014.
