Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce dominated Yakama tonight as they won 122-102 (7, 0) to win the rubber match in the third straight game against the Sun Kings. The Skyforce improved their record to 3-2 while Yakama dropped to 3-3 on the season.
Stephen Graham came out firing as he had eight points within the first two minutes of action. The 'Force shot the ball extremely well in the first half as they were 26-for-43 (.605) from the field. The 'Force won the first two quarters 37-32 and 34-28 as they took a 71-60 lead going into the locker room. It was much of the same in the third quarter as the 'Force won the third quarter 27-21 and went into the final quarter with a chance to sweep the quarter-points from the Sun Kings. Josh Mueller went 4-for-4 from the charity stripe in the last minute to help the 'Force win the final quarter 24-21 and sweep the quarter-points from an opponent for the first time since the 2003-04 season (the 'Force beat the same Yakima Sun Kings 119-90 (7, 0) on January 7, 2004). Noel Felix had an impressive game as he had 21 points and three blocked shots against his former team.
The Skyforce's next game is on Wednesday, November 30th on the road against the Idaho Stampede. Tip-off is set for 9:00 CST at Qwest Arena.
