Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce (1-2, 7.0) takes on the Yakama Sun Kings (3-1, 19.0) tonight at 7:05 at the Sioux Falls Arena.

Game Info:

Raining Three's

The Yakama Sun Kings shot lights out from the three-point line last night as they were 15-for-28 (.536). That tied the team record for three-pointers made in a game as they also made 15 three-pointers against Rockford in 2003. Geno Carlisle (7-for-10) and Antwain Barbour (7-for-11) did most of the damage, however Cheyne Gadson made the biggest one of the night as he hit a timely three-pointer with just over two minutes to play after the ‘Force cut the lead to five points on a three ball from Josh Mueller.

Offense Clicking

Three games into the 2005-06 season the Skyforce is averaging a league leading 121.3 points per game. Unfortunately, the ‘Force is also allowing a league leading 121.7 points per contest. The highest season scoring average in franchise history is 117.3 ppg during the 1990-91 season.

Good Choice

When the Albany Patroons selected T.J. (Ronald) Thompson with the first pick in the 2005 CBA Draft, most people had probably never heard of the 5'10" point guard from George Washington University. Someone in the Patroons organization knew what they were doing though as he has shown why he deserved to be the top draft pick. Through four games he is second in the CBA in scoring average (31.0), sixth in assists per game (6.0), and fourth in steals per game (2.3).
