Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release

Bismarck, ND - The Sioux Falls Skyforce lost to the Dakota Wizards tonight 107-96 (6, 1) to move to 10-9 on the season. With the balance in the Western Conference the 'Force actually drops into last place with a respectable 3.6 quarter-points average. Dakota snapped a season-high six-game losing streak and improved to 7-8.

The 'Force were at a disadvantage from the get go as Brandon Hunter was not in uniform due to the flu. Despite playing without their best player, the 'Force won the opening quarter 25-23. Dakota would go on to win the second and third quarters 25-19 and 30-28 respectively as they headed into the final quarter leading 78-74. The 'Force would get as close as two points (90-88) on an Al Neale jumper with 6:47 to go in the game, however Dakota responded with a 10-2 run and put the game out of reach as they won for the first time since they defeated the 'Force at home back on December 12th.

The Skyforce's next game is tomorrow night against the same Dakota Wizards. Tip-off is set for 7:05 pm at the Bismarck Civic Center.
