Skyforce Acquires John Allen

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Dec. 3, 2013) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired guard John Allen. The team also placed guard Larry Drew II on the active roster. The active roster now stands at 10 players.

Allen attended training camp with the Santa Cruz Warriors after being acquired in a trade with the Texas Legends. He was selected by Texas in the fourth round (56th overall) of the 2013 NBA Development League Draft. The 6-1, 190-pound guard averaged 15.4 points and 3.6 assists in three seasons (96 games) at Western Washington University. He was named first-team Division II Bulletin and Basketball Times All-American and third-team Daktronics All-American after averaging a team-leading 17.1 points and 4.1 assists in 2012-13.
