SkyChiefs to Play Doubleheader Monday
August 13, 2004 - International League (IL1)
Syracuse Mets News Release
Syracuse, NY- The Syracuse SkyChiefs announced today that the regularly scheduled single for Monday August 16th has been changed to a doubleheader and will begin at 5:00 PM with gates opening at 4:00 PM.
The SkyChiefs and Red Barons were rained out last night in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in Syracuse's final trip to play the Red Barons. Due to the fact that it was Syracuse's last trip to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the game will be made up in Syracuse.
Monday's doubleheader marks the second straight season that the SkyChiefs have gained an extra home game due to a postponement in another stadium. Last season the SkyChiefs and Buffalo Bisons played a regular scheduled game from Buffalo in Syracuse as part of a Doubleheader.
