Durham, NC- Dewayne Wise singled in Bruce Aven with the game-winning run in the top of the ninth inning as the Syracuse SkyChiefs defeated the Durham Bulls, 5-3 on Sunday evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The SkyChiefs won the final three games of the four-game series.

With one out in the ninth inning and the score tied at three, Aven reached first on an infield single and advanced to second on 3B Jared Sandberg's errant throw.
