Toledo Mud Hens 2 Winning Pitcher - Rigo Beltran (1-0)
Losing Pitcher - Tyler Walker (1-2) Red Hot Lynx win 6th straight, and now sit at 15-14. Player of the Game: Spot-starter Rigo Beltran gave the Lynx 5.0 innings of one-run baseball, giving the explosive Lynx offense time to kick into gear. Home Runs:

TOL - none Key Plays: Back to back RBI singles by Jack Cust and Carlos Mendez gave the Lynx a 3-1 lead in the 3rd inning. Recap: Toledo scored in the first for the second straight day. Danny Klassen singled with two out, stole second, and after a walk to Kevin Witt, he came around to score on a Ernie Young single. The Lynx counted three in the 3rd. Pedro Swann led off with a single to center, and one out later Brian Roberts walked. Luis Matos' two-out single loaded the bases for Cust, whose single to shallow left scored two.
Ever-hot Carlos Mendez followed with a single between third and short, scoring Matos. The Lynx added another in the 5th, when Matos walked, moved to second on Cust's infield hit, and scored on Darnell McDonald's two-out single. Toledo made it 4-2 in the 7th, before the Lynx exploded with 5 in the 8th to put the game away. Brian Roberts led off with a simple fly to center which was dropped by Hiram Bocachica, opening the floodgates. Roberts stole third, as Garabito struck out. Matos was intentionally walked, and Cust grounded out to first knocking in Roberts for this 3rd RBI. Carlos Mendez was then intentionally walked, and Darnell McDonald worked a walk, setting the stage for Robert Machado, who knocked the Lynx first grand slam since May 17th of last year, a no-doubter over the wall in left-center. Rigo Beltran (5.0ip, 5h, 1r, 1er, 1bb, 4k) gets his first straight win.
