North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers got back in the win column on Saturday with a 4-1 victory over the Corpus Christi Hooks in front of 8,054 at Dickey-Stephens Park.

RHP Albert Suarez (W, 5-3) continued his stellar 2015 with 6.1 shutout frames. Suarez surrendered three hits with two walks and three strikeouts. He ranks fifth in the Texas League with a 2.59 ERA.

LHP Chris O'Grady worked 1.2 innings after Suarez and surrendered just one unearned run. O'Grady earned his sixth hold of the season, the second-most in the league.

RHP Danny Reynolds (S, 2) pitched a hitless ninth to earn his second save. Reynolds walked one and struck out one.

The Travs scored single runs in each of the final four innings.

Arkansas' top two hitters in the order, 2B Sherman Johnson & SS Eric Stamets, both contributed a pair of hits with a run batted in.

Johnson went 2-for-3 with a walk, run, double and the RBI. Stamets finished 2-for-5.

Eight of the nine Travs starters recorded a hit and all nine reached base at least once.

C Zach Wright picked off his fourth baserunner of the year, and third at third base (eighth inning).

Arkansas has committed 37 of its 47 errors at Dickey-Stephens Park this season.

With the win and a pair of Northwest Arkansas losses, the Travs improved to 28-20 and moved to within 2.5 games of first place in the Texas League North.

Arkansas has won seven of its last eight games.

The Travs and Hooks will conclude the three-game series on Sunday at Dickey-Stephens Park. RHP Michael Brady (0-2, 2.45) will take the hill for Arkansas and will opposed by RHP Mike Hauschild (3-1, 3.58). First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 p.m.
