
Six RBI Game by Loggins Paces Wild Things 12-2 Win over Evansville

WashingtonâThe Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, pounded the Evansville Otters 12-2 in front of the 14th straight sellout crowd at Falconi Field Monday evening.
Josh Loggins led the Wild Things 19 hit barrage. Loggins went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double and six RBI. The Wild Things scored seven of their runs in the fourth inning. The inning was highlighted by Jon Cahill's two run double and the 3 run home run by Logginsâhis second of the game.
Ben Ally was the beneficiary of the Washington offensive splurge. Ally pitched six innings and earned the win to raise his record to 5-5. Steven Faulkner took the loss for Evansville. Faulkner is 3-3 on the campaign.
Every Wild Things player that came to the plate in the game recorded one hit. John Cowell and Coakley each had three hits for the Wild Things. Blake Woods, Jon Cahill, Zack Cates, Jake Bollig, and Doug Garcia had two hits apiece for Washington. Evansville scored their two runs on solo home runs by Wes Hayden.
The Wild Things will close their six game home stand tomorrow evening at 7:05. Jeremy Lewis and Jared Howton are the probable starting pitchers for the Otters and Wild Things. The first 1,500 fans will receive a Joe Cuervo Bobble Head, courtesy of Washington Federal Savings Bank and WJPA Radio.
