[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-Single game tickets for all Scorpions 2008-09 games are now on sale. Tickets start as low as $9 for youth and $12 for adults on the new Rio Zone.

The Santa Ana Star Center promises to be the most fun place for you and your friends to enjoy entrainment starting October 17th when the Scorpions host the Amarillo Gorillas. The first 1,500 fans inside the Santa Ana Star Center receive a rally towel courtesy of Santa Ana Star Casino. The game starts at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are available over the internet by visiting www.GetTix.net or calling 866-4-GET-TIX. Fans can get their tickets in person at the Santa Ana Star Center box office, Santa Ana Star Casino promotions desk, Ace Hardware, Pack 'n' Mail Albuquerque and Kirtland Air Force Base ITT building.

In addition to opening night, the Scorps will play 24 more games with weekend dates. Promotional giveaways this year include, bobble heads, koozies, hats, magnet schedule, diamond jewelry and much more.

The specialty jersey night tradition continues with four featured jerseys this coming season. The Scorpions will hold their annual Salute to the Military Night on November 22nd, American Cancer Society Night on January 24th, Salute to the Badges, featuring the always exciting cops vs. fire hockey game, on February 7th and UNM Lobo Night on March 6th.

The Scorpions will also hold the Largest Halloween Party in New Mexico on October 31st. Kids and adults are encouraged to wear their costume when the Scorps host the Texas Brahmas. All those wearing a costume will be invited up to the suite level to go "Trick or Suiting" and get some candy.

The day after Christmas the Scorpions hold their first ever "White Elephant Night." Bring your least favorite gift from the holiday season and join in with thousands of fans as we see who ends up with the year's worst gift.

February is traditionally reserved for showing love to your special someone. On February 13th, the Scorpions will hold "Singles Night" for those in search of their special someone. A special section will be reserved for all singles with men and women sitting in alternate seats. Every whistle the singles will be encouraged to switch seats and talk to a new person.

For the second straight season the Scorpions will hold a "Pink in the Rink Night." The ice will be dyed; the players will use pink sticks as the night will raise awareness for Breast Cancer.
